Founded by co-founders Jose Cruz and Phillip Leija, Anime Hōm was built on a lifelong love for anime, Japanese culture, and the stories that shaped us growing up. What started as two kids watching anime has evolved into something much bigger. Our journey began at a flea market in San Antonio, Texas, where we turned our passion into a business and laid the foundation for what was to come. In 2020, we opened our first anime retail store, bringing our vision to life and building a community around the culture we grew up loving. Six years later, that same passion gave birth to Anime Hōm 家 — a brand that bridges the worlds of Japanese culture, streetwear, and everyday living.
